Three Season Recreational Pool Polo

The sun maybe getting low on the horizon but things are heating up in the pools. Polo in the pool is underway again running three season sessions and we are looking for paddlers who want to have fun kayaking all year long.

Kayak polo offers paddlers a chance to stay active and keep their skills up year round while having a great deal of fun in the process. Polo is a nationally recongnized sport that resembles basket ball in the water and is done while in your kayak. This is open to all paddlers and is played in a toned down friendly format, where skills and good sportsmanship are encouraged giving everyone a chance to participate. Competitive memebers can also venture out to  regional competitions and truly test their skills.

This sport is played at Fritz Sic Pool Saturdays from 4:00 - 6:00pm, with sessions running ( Autumn - October and November, Winter January and February, Spring March and April ) with dates posted on the Highlevel web site and are subject to change. Members fees are $10 for WPC members and $15 for non members. Players should bring their own boats and gear and should be clean and free of any sand or debree. Highlevel will also hae a few boats on hand and can be rented ahead of schedule for an additional $10 per game. Members must pay at Highlevel prior to the game or can sign up for the autumn, winter or spring session as a limited number of players are allowed and it is on a first come first serve basis. All players must sign a waiver per game or for the season.

We will be playing two to three games per night which will allow for breaks and we  also have the availablility of the small tank where members can work on their rolling skills.

All members bringing boats will access the pool on the west entrance and must remove all street footwear prior to entering the pool.  If the boats are not clean they musted be rinsed off with the hose on the north end of the pool prior to entering the water.
